Frequent Questions

At Urologic Consultants of Southeastern Pennsylvania, your care and wellbeing is our top priority. Our team of world-renowned physicians uses state-of-the-art technology to provide the most advanced treatments available in a warm, friendly atmosphere. If you have any questions or you need anything to make your visit more comfortable, just ask.

To help make your visit go as smoothly as possible, we've created these resources to help you schedule and prepare for your appointment.

Making an Appointment

To make an appointment, please call us at one of our convenient locations.

Established patients who wish to make an appointment can call the office and provide the following information:

· The physician you want to see
· Your desired appointment date
· Your desired appointment time
· The reason for your visit

What To Bring

When you schedule your appointment, you will receive information about what to bring and how to prepare for your visit, if necessary. Although a member of our staff will tell you specifically what you will need to bring, information we typically require includes:

· A list of your current medications (prescribed and over-the-counter), vitamins, and any herbal supplements that you might be taking
· Your insurance information
· A referral, if your health insurance provider requires it
· Completed new patient paperwork, if necessary (Click here to download new patient paperwork. Note: You must have access to a printer.)
· Your co-payment or deductible: You may be asked to pay for services not covered by insurance. Please bring cash, check, or major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express).

Be prepared to provide a urine sample during your visit.

Managed care organizations require that patients obtain a referral from their primary care physician to see a specialist. We previously have been able to obtain referrals for patients. Because the number of managed care patients has increased, we can no longer provide this service. Therefore, patients must obtain the initial referral and know how many follow-up visits are allowed as well as referral expiration dates.

We also require payment on any outstanding balances due at the time of service.

Billing

We have professional billing staff in each of our medical offices to answer any questions you might have. For your convenience, we accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

If you think your medical problem is life threatening, call 911 immediately.

Insurance

We accept the following health insurance providers:

· Aetna
· Americhoice
· Amerihealth HMO and PPO
· Bravo/ElderHealth
· Cigna
· Health Net
· Highmark Blue Shield
· Keystone Healthplan East
· Amerihealth
· Keystone Mercy
· Medicaid
· Medicare
· Multi Plan
