About Susan Tarry 

Dr. Tarry is board certified in urology. She treats the entire range of urologic diseases and conditions: kidney, prostate and bladder cancer, pelvic floor prolapse, recurrent urinary tract infections, interstitial cystitis, overactive bladder, urethral stricture disease and kidney stones. She also specializes in reconstructive and robotic surgery.

Dr. Tarry is focused on the three pillars of an effective urology practice: treating patients, the medical training of physicians and medical research. She has received awards and grants in each of these areas in addition to an award for her volunteer medical service in Uganda.  

Dr. Tarry is now the Director of Reconstructive Urology Surgery at Drexel University College of Medicine. Prior to joining Urologic Consultants, she practiced and taught in Texas where she was voted Outstanding Teacher of 2016 in the Division of Urology at the University of Texas. 

Dr. Tarry received her BS (Summa Cum Laude) in biology from West Virginia University where she stayed to complete her medical degree. She competed her internship in general surgery and residency in urology at West Virginia University Hospital. 

Dr. Tarry completed a fellowship with the Society of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons (GURS) at The Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview, Texas.

Dr. Tarry is a Fellow of American College of Surgeons and Society of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons as well as a member of the American Urological Association.
