Center for Continence and Pelvic Care

Many women believe that problems like incontinence are an unavoidable part of getting older. Embarrassment may keep women from seeking help for incontinence and other pelvic problems. Only about 30 percent of people with voiding issues seek treatment.

You don't have to suffer in silence. Incontinence and other pelvic disorders can be treated. We offer a comprehensive, holistic approach in a comfortable, supportive environment. We begin by taking the time to listen to you and gain a true understanding of your problem. We will recommend options until we find something that works. We will bring in the expertise of nutritionists, physical therapists and sex therapists when we think they can help you. Plus, we collaborate with neurologists, pain management specialists, gynecologists and infectious disease specialists when appropriate.

We offer advanced urodynamics and other testing to find the source of the problem. Treatment plans may include behavior modification, physical therapy, biofeedback, sex therapy, nutrition counseling and medical devices as well as medications and minimally invasive surgery. We work with a compounding pharmacy to develop effective combinations of medical creams, lotions and inserts. We focus on the whole person, and getting you back to enjoying a full life.

We specialize in all kinds of urology, including urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, pelvic organ prolapse (dropped bladder, bowel, uterus and rectum), painful bladder syndrome (interstitial cystitis), vaginal pain and recurrent urinary tract infections. We accept all forms of government and private insurance.
